			<title>COMMAND MC Attends Towson Undergraduate Leadership Summit</title>

&lt;p&gt;On February 20, 2010, COMMAND MC attended the B+MORE PROUD LGBTQIA Leadership Summit held at Towson University. Over 150 college students representing 25 local colleges and universities attended.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;COMMAND MC&amp;#8217;s goal was to raise its visibility within the LGBTQIA college community and promote itself as the premier Baltimore leather organization. The club had an information table, distributed literature, and encouraged students to provide their e-mail addresses to be contacted at a later time. Students were also offered complimentary tickets to the club's upcoming Black &amp;amp; Blue Ball, scheduled for March 26, 2010.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Representing COMMAND MC were David Shover (President), Allan T. (Vice President), Mike S., Marty T., Greg S., and Doug R. In addition, TJ B. represented Brother, Help Thyself.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The goals of the leadership summit were to cultivate leadership skills, encourage student involvement, and provide an opportunity for socializing and networking between LGBTQIA student leaders.&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>C.O.M.M.A.N.D. MC Mr. Maryland Leather 2010 Contest</title>

						<description>&lt;p&gt;On November 7th C.O.M.M.A.N.D. MC held their MML XX at Club Hippo and awarded Justin Smith the title of Mr. Maryland Leather 2010. Over 100 Leathermen and Leatherwomen came out to support this annual event.&amp;#160;It all began at Club Phoenix on Friday evening where everyone met the three contestants Charles Pijanowski, Yoshi Fujii, and Justin Smith along with the Judges and Contest Staff.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Saturday began with another successful contest at Club Hippo.&amp;#160;The silent auction had over 50 items on display. There was something for everyone. The contest began at 2 PM with Charles Oswald, bar manager of Club XS in York, PA and Miss Shawnna Alexander, Baltimore&amp;#8217;s Queen of Comedy as the emcees. Special entertainment included Positive Voices, Shawnna Alexander, Sue Nami, and of course The COMMAND Players. The 12 titleholders in attendance were David Shover, Mr. Club XS Leather 2009; Matt Bamford, Mr. Capital Pride Leather 2009; Jackie Thompson, Ms. Capital Pride Leather 2009; Dakota, American Leatherwoman 2009; Johnny Boy, American Leatherboy 2009; Jeff Varnigan, Mr. SECC 2009; Damian, Mr. New Jersey Leather 2010; Jeffrey Payne, International Mr. Leather (IML) 2009; Ky Eaton, Mid-Atlantic LeatherSIR 2009, John Harris, Mr. DC Eagle 2009; Brandon Riley, Mid-Atlantic Community Bootblack 2009; D&amp;#8217;Marje&amp;#8217;, Ms. Club Phoenix 2010; Allen Peebles, Mr. Old Dominion Leather 2009; boy Eddie Ortiz, Mid-Atlantic Leatherboy 2009. Special presentations were given to Rik &amp;#8220;Sir Hooker&amp;#8221; Newton-Treadway, Mr. Maryland Leather (MML) 2009; by Glenda Rider, the owner of The Playhouse and Master Mike Zuhl who couldn&amp;#8217;t be there in person but had Jeffrey Payne, IML 2009 do the presentation for him.&amp;#160;Each year C.O.M.M.A.N.D. MC&amp;#8217;s active members present the Esprit De Corps award.&amp;#160;This year TJ Bernadzikowski received this award.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Finally the time came for Rik &amp;#8220;Sir Hooker&amp;#8221; Newton-Treadway, MML 2009 to pass the sash on to the MML 2010. All the contestants were well deserving of this title but Justin walked away with the title and Charles was the 1st runner up. The event ended with an incredible dinner served by Biddle Street Catering. This year&amp;#8217;s MML Contest was a real success and all proceeds will go to Brother&amp;#8217;s Help Thyself.
